Richard Mulwa is a Professor of Environmental Economics and Policy, Centre Director and Senior Research Fellow at the Environment for Development (EfD-Kenya), University of Nairobi. Currently he is teaching at the Faculty of Law and Department of Economics and Development Studies. Over the years, he has been doing research in agriculture and climate change, efficiency and productivity analysis, ecosystem valuation, political economy of natural resources management, and water resources policy. Currently he is actively leading research in natural capital valuation, sustainable energy transitions, just transitions, inclusive green economy and the blue economy etc. He is a member of African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EFAERE), International Society of Ecological Economists (ISEE), The African Growth and Development Policy Modeling Consortium (AGRODEP), and Liebig Centre for Agroecology and Climate Impact Research (Justus Liebig University) Germany.
