Head of Climate Finance, Perspectives Climate Group

Igor Shishlov is Head of Climate Finance at Perspectives Climate Group and a Research Associate at Climate & Earth Center at HEC Paris. He has been working in the climate policy field since 2011 on topics ranging from carbon markets and carbon accounting to international climate finance and export credit agencies. His current work at Perspectives mainly focuses on aligning public and private finance flows with the Paris Agreement. At HEC Paris, Igor is teaching courses on Climate Change Economics and manages the Climate and Business Certificate specialization program. Previously, Igor worked at I4CE – Institute for Climate Economics, a Paris-based think-tank, where he conducted research on international climate policies and carbon markets. He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from Paris-Saclay University, an MSc in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris and a Diploma in International Business from St. Petersburg State University.
