Inés joined Climate Strategies as a Programme and Networks Associate in July 2023. She has managed a wide portfolio of research projects since then, with topics including climate-trade policy, industrial decarbonization, and the design of transition indicators for climate policy implementation.
Inés is a La Caixa Foundation fellow and holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from ISS (Erasmus University Rotterdam), where she majored in Agrarian, Food, and Environmental Studies. Previously, she graduated first of her cohort with a degree in Politics and International Relations from SOAS (University of London). Her research during this time specialised in Political Ecology, with a special interest in the intersections between migration, labour, and sustainable rural development in the Mediterranean.
