Ana Paola joined Climate Strategies as a Programme and Networks Associate in August 2023, bringing with her experience and expertise in the realm of international affairs. Prior to Climate Strategies she worked at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she served within the Directorate-General for the United Nations System. During her time as civil servant, Ana Paola gained first-hand experience on multilateral cooperation and was part of various Mexican delegations participating in UN and UNESCO policy processes. Ana Paola holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from ITAM, one in International Relations and the other in Political Science. Complementing this, Ana Paola has an MSc in International Public Policy and Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
