2022 saw Climate Strategies reach new heights. Our portfolio of impactful projects across disciplines has grown, we have extended our membership, employed excellent individuals with unique talents at our Secretariat, and adopted a new strategy.
As the need for transformative systemic changes is gaining traction in this Decisive Decade, Climate Strategies remains committed to paving the way for them. Our work on the fossil fuels and energy transition, economy-wide just transition in the Global South, net-zero political economy of middle-income countries, to name just a few initiatives, have made headlines and inspired new groups of stakeholders to understand the practical benefits of embarking on climate-friendlier journeys.
Our record presence at COP27 in Egypt helped us foster better relations with our members, wider visibility among our partners and supporters and reconfirmed the relevance of creating reliable and impactful scientific knowledge to boost climate action.
