This project brought together a broad variety of case studies, to explore the domestic drivers and barriers for policies with climate (co-)benefits in developing countries including Ghana, Brazil, India, South Africa and China.

In 2009, Climate Strategies brought together world-leading climate researchers for a series of publications and workshops on the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, to tackle the hotly debated risks of carbon leakage in a world of unequal carbon prices.

This project explored the possibility of reaching the 80% emission reduction target while securing the benefits of transitioning towards a low carbon economy.
