ROLE: Intern

Summer period (July-September 2019)

Are you looking for an opportunity to:

  • Play a key role in in assisting the delivery of the current project portfolio?
  • Contribute to fundraising and proposal writing?
  • Assist with office management, including logistical arrangements for meetings?
  • Assist with preparations for events and conference, including the  marketing and communication of events?
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you! 

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, organised and self-motivated. A strategic mind-set is important as we are a small team working across a diverse range of roles, aiming to achieve large goals. The role offers opportunity to gain experience across multiple different areas of project work. The ideal candidate will be proactive, committed, flexible and a quick learner.

ROLE: Project Officer

Are you looking for an opportunity to:

  • Manage impactful research projects?
  • Facilitate events in Europe and around the world?
  • Engage and build relationships with a top-class researchers and policymakers?
  • Further your knowledge of climate change and international policy?
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Our small secretariat is looking for a person who is efficient and detail-conscious in their work, and who is a team player (also with virtual teams) that is also able to work effectively on their own.

An ideal candidate will have experience of project delivery and administration (research-based projects desirable), event organisation, use of various communication platforms (websites, professional social media etc.) and familiarity with current climate policy context.


So, what do we offer in return?
  • The opportunity to shape research projects and catalyse their application to real life policy debates in the fields of climate change, energy and sustainable development;
  • Interactions with, and ability to influence, a wide range of topics, people and geographies;
  • A full-time position with competitive salary (£20,000 – £35,000, depending on experience) and various benefits.

  • Define and manage impactful research projects?
  • Organise events in Europe and around the world?
  • Apply and further your knowledge of climate change and international policy?
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Our small Secretariat based in London is looking for a person who is independent and efficient in their work, a team player (also with virtual teams) and a good strategist.

An ideal candidate will have experience of project acquisition and delivery (research-based projects desirable), stakeholder engagement, event organisation, use of various communication platforms (websites, professional social media etc.) and good grasp of current climate policy context.


So, what do we offer in return?
  • The opportunity to shape research projects and catalyse their application to real life policy debates in the fields of climate change, energy and sustainable development policy;
  • Interactions with a wide range of topics, people and geographies and ability to influence those interactions;
  • A full-time position with competitive salary (indicative range depending on experience: £ 35,000 – £ 45,000).

A successful candidate should typically have between five and eight years of relevant professional experience. The job would be based at our offices in Central London.
