This online event will open a dialogue with experts and key stakeholders from government, industry and academia on how to unlock the potential of demand-side flexibility (DSF) in solving some of the key challenges of decarbonising electricity in China. The conversation will kick off with a presentation of research findings, lessons and policy recommendations drawn upon international DSF experiences, including the pioneering role of the UK.
This is the final dissemination event of the “Flexible Demand to Integrate Intermittent Renewables” project. It is an international cooperation UK/China project funded by the China Prosperity Fund of the Energy and Low Carbon Economy Program of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
