If you work in the field of negative emissions technologies, join this NET-Rapido workshop on September 22nd, 1 – 2:15pm CEST.
Since 2018 the NET-Rapido project has examined the role of Negative Emissions Technologies (NETs) for limiting the global temperature increase to well below 2°C or 1.5°C. Part of this examination and analysis has involved engagements with stakeholders. This workshop seeks to build-on and continue these discussions and focus on some of the most prominent concerns raised by stakeholders. Namely, NET governance, interactions between NETs, and the prioritisation of NET approaches as well as novel developments. This will take place on zoom and will consist of presentations from project members, moderated breakout room discussions, and a final Q&A session.
Our speakers include:
- Matthias Honegger – Perspectives Climate Change
- Hanna-Mari Ahonen – Perspectives Climate Change
- Axel Michaelowa – Perspectives Climate Change
- Kenneth Möllersten – Swedish Environmental Research Institute
