Thu, 8th June 2023 | Invite-only event | Bonn
The Global Stocktake provides a critical window for assessing and strengthening international and national climate policy towards the Paris Agreement’s goals. Hence, this invite-only co-creation workshop is set to kick off interactions as part of ELEVATE but also to present our latest scientific insights from related projects ENGAGE and COMMITTED. The workshop will allow the exchange of views on transformative policies and just and sustainable pathways to bridge the gap between current implementation and the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The workshop will focus on the following themes:
- Up-to-date assessment of the NDCs, national policies and transformative policy packages and exploration of policies to drive transformative changes;
- Integration of justice and equity dimensions in pathways towards climate neutrality;
- Different definitions of net-zero emission goals.
This workshop will be the first in a series of co-creation workshops planned by the ELEVATE project.
