On the 30th March 2012 – London, UK
Climate Strategies arranged a workshop involving twelve participants from a variety of backgrounds for a Chatham House discussion of the results of the recent project on communication of modeling results.
The workshop opened with short presentation of the project findings (as summarised in the workshop background paper – download available soon). This highlighted the differences in presenting results as a departure from (an invisible) reference case, contrasted with presenting results as trends in per capita GDP relative to historical level.
A second presentation outlined research results on how the framing and communication of economic impacts effects support for emissions reduction policies.
