Climate Strategies Membership
About our Members
Climate Strategies Members are at the core of our set-up. By contributing their expertise to our projects, events, research, and more, members help ensure that our work is grounded in the latest scientific findings while remaining relevant in the evolving policy landscape. Our Members are typically academics affiliated with universities who are working directly on climate change.
Climate Strategies currently follows a no-fee Membership structure to keep our network accessible, diverse and inclusive.
Do you have questions about Membership? Email our Communications and Members Manager, Adela.

Why Join Climate Strategies?
Climate Strategies offers a unique opportunity for Members to collaborate with an international network of researchers and policymakers working to tackle climate change. Membership provides several benefits:
Collaborative Engagement
Members can participate in exclusive brainstorming sessions and events, where they can share their research and ideas with peers and policymakers.
Partnership
The Climate Strategies Secretariat is open to supporting international projects in the capacity of stakeholder engagement, communication, research, and more. We can also connect Members to relevant experts and other stakeholders. Our Membership works as a partnership, and we encourage Members to come to us with potential new opportunities.
Peer Feedback
Receive constructive feedback from fellow members to help strengthen your work efficiently and without administrative red tape.
Access to our Network
We facilitate online and in-person events and conferences to connect leading climate researchers and policymakers across the world.
Sharing your Research
We offer access to Member groups, creating a space to share all new research and projects from our network. We can also share various updates via a Member Newsletter.
How to Join Climate Strategies:
Becoming a Member of our network requires a nomination from an existing member or our Managing Director.
After being nominated, the application is reviewed by Climate Strategies’ Managing Director and Members Manager, who often organise an informal chat with the applicant to discuss expectations and membership benefits.
Following a successful conversation, the nomination is taken to the Climate Strategies Board, who make the final decision.
Once the application is successful, the Climate Strategies Members Manager follows up with a welcome and bilateral meeting.
